In the initial years, it operated primarily as a collaborative space for sharing resources, discussing theological topics, and offering informal support and mentorship. The online platform allowed members to connect across geographical boundaries, fostering a diverse and inclusive community of learners and instructors on Bible translation lessons and projects.
Recognizing the growing demand for structured educational programs, NBL began developing various courses and training modules. These programs are designed to be flexible, allowing participants to study while balancing their responsibilities.
