About Course

This course introduces the foundational principles and practices of pastoral care and counseling within faith-based settings. Students explore theological foundations, core counseling theories, ethical standards, and the distinct role of pastoral caregivers. Emphasis is placed on developing essential skills such as active listening, empathy, discernment, and crisis response as students engage real-life pastoral situations affecting individuals, families, and communities.
